Trailer light brackets take a beating. Road vibration, rough terrain, and years of use will crack or weaken them over time - and when they go, the light housing has nothing solid to hold onto. That's exactly what this customer was dealing with.
The original bracket wasn't cutting it anymore. Instead of just patching what was there, we stepped up the material and fabricated a heavier-duty aluminum bracket to give the tail light real, lasting support. When we do trailer repairs, we're not interested in a quick fix that fails again in six months.
The new bracket is fabricated from diamond plate aluminum - gusseted and welded cleanly into the corner of the trailer frame. It's solid, it fits the light housing properly, and it's built to handle whatever this trailer gets put through. That's the difference between a patch job and an actual repair.
A lot of trailers out there have weak spots that owners don't even know about until something breaks at the wrong time. Cracked brackets, failing welds, light housings that rattle loose - these are fixable problems, and they don't have to sideline your trailer for long when you bring them to someone who knows aluminum fabrication and welding.
We work on all kinds of trailer repairs, from small bracket fixes like this one to more involved structural work. If your trailer has something that needs attention, we'll take a look and get it handled the right way.
