This one was a fun install. The Young and Moody building on W. Reynolds St. is the kind of classic downtown brick storefront that has real character - and it deserved an awning that could hold its own against that architecture.

We went with a new frame and bay blue vinyl cover for the ground-floor storefront. The color choice was intentional. That bright blue against the warm red brick creates a sharp contrast without fighting the building's historic charm. Clean scalloped edge, solid structure, and a wide span that delivers real shade coverage for anyone walking by or stepping through the door.

A lot of commercial awning work we see comes in with tired frames and faded, cracked fabric that does nothing for curb appeal. When the cover is gone, so is the shade - and the building just looks neglected. A full awning fabric replacement, or in this case a complete new frame and cover, is one of the fastest ways to change how a storefront reads from the street.

The result here is exactly what downtown Plant City deserves. A building with this much history shouldn't be flying a worn-out awning. The new install gives the storefront a sharp, finished look that holds up and stands out - without losing anything that made it worth preserving in the first place.

We work with commercial properties all over the area on everything from awning cleaning and maintenance to full replacements like this one. When the frame is shot or the fabric has run its course, we come in and handle it from the ground up.
