Sometimes all a building needs is one sharp detail to pull everything together. That's exactly what happened here in Winter Haven. The existing awning frame was solid, but the old fabric had run its course. Rather than replacing the whole structure, we did an awning recover - new Sunbrella canvas stretched over the existing frame for a clean, finished look at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement.

We went with marine blue Sunbrella fabric, and it was the right call. It pops against the light stucco exterior without being over the top. The scalloped valance edge gives it that classic awning look that actually ages well. Sunbrella is our go-to for Florida applications - it handles UV exposure, humidity, and heavy rain without fading or breaking down the way cheaper fabrics do.

An awning recover is one of the most practical upgrades you can do for a building. You're keeping the bones, swapping the skin. The frame does the structural work - the fabric does the visual and functional work. When the fabric starts sagging, fading, or holding moisture, it's time. A fresh cover fixes all of that and adds shade right where you need it.

What we ended up with here is a tight, uniform fit across the full span of the entry - no bunching, no gaps, no loose edges. That's the difference between a quality install and a rushed one. The fabric has to be cut and sewn correctly before it ever goes on the frame, and that's where the work actually happens.
