Here's what we were working with - a clean white storefront with solid bones, but nothing above the entrance to pull it together or tell the story of the brand. Just bare wall and a basic bracket setup. No presence, no personality. That's a missed opportunity for any business that gets foot traffic.
We built and installed a full black vinyl dome awning centered over the main entrance. The shape is bold - a rounded barrel style with a scalloped valance along the bottom edge. It fits the building proportions well and draws your eye straight to the door. That kind of visual anchor matters more than most business owners realize.
The white Chicken Shack logo printed on the face does a lot of work. Clean contrast, good sizing, easy to read from the street. When someone drives by, they know exactly where they are and what kind of place this is. That's branding doing its job without any extra effort on the owner's side.
Vinyl is a smart material choice for a spot like this. It holds color well, stands up to rain and UV without warping or fading fast, and it's low maintenance compared to fabric. For a busy local restaurant that's open six days a week, you want something that keeps looking good without a lot of upkeep between awning maintenance visits.
The before shot tells the whole story on its own - the old hardware was still bolted to the fascia, nothing else. The after is a completely different storefront. Same building, totally different curb appeal. That's the kind of difference a well-built custom awning makes.
