Custom Aluminum Skimmer Fabricated for Storm Drainage Recovery

When a storm tears through and leaves a drainage system compromised, the fix has to be built tough enough to handle whatever comes next. That's exactly what this job called for. We were brought in to fabricate a custom aluminum skimmer to protect a concrete drainage structure sitting in open water - keeping debris out and keeping flow moving the way it's supposed to.

Aluminum is the right call for applications like this. It holds up against constant water exposure without corroding, it's strong enough to take a beating from storm debris, and it doesn't need a lot of ongoing maintenance to stay in shape. For infrastructure that sits in water around the clock, that matters a lot.

This wasn't an off-the-shelf solution. We custom-built the skimmer panels to wrap the existing concrete structure - fitted and fastened so they sit tight and work as a cohesive unit. The corner seams, the fastener placement, the overall fit against the structure - everything was done with care so it performs the way it needs to, not just the way it looks.
