This Polk City home needed shade - real, reliable shade - across two very different spaces. The back patio called for full coverage over a large screened area, and the RV storage bay needed its own dedicated cover to match. One fabric, one frame style, one cohesive look across both. That was the goal, and that's exactly what we delivered.

We built custom aluminum frames for both locations and stretched a Sunbrella striped canvas over each one. Sunbrella is our go-to fabric for Florida homes because it holds color, sheds water, resists mildew, and takes the sun punishment year after year without fading out. The warm multi-stripe pattern the homeowner chose - burgundy, gold, and earth tones - works perfectly against the peach stucco exterior. Nothing clashing, everything pulling together.

The patio awning runs the full width of the back of the house, giving complete overhead coverage to the screened space and the open sitting area just outside it. It's a big footprint, and the aluminum frame handles it cleanly. No sag, no flex - just solid structure that's going to hold up season after season. That kind of backbone matters especially when Florida weather decides to get rowdy.

The RV bay cover is a different animal. That space has clearance requirements and framing constraints you don't deal with on a standard patio. We worked with the existing structure to mount an awning that fits the opening properly and delivers useful coverage without interfering with the RV itself. Same fabric, same clean finish - but a completely different installation challenge solved the right way.

When you're covering two separate areas of a property and want them to feel intentional rather than pieced together, the fabric choice and frame quality are everything. Matching the Sunbrella canvas across both spaces is what ties this whole property together. It looks like it was always supposed to be there.
