Sometimes a frame is perfectly good - it's just the fabric that's given up. That's exactly the situation here. The existing frame was solid, so rather than replacing the whole unit, we went with an awning recover using Bay Blue vinyl. Same structure, fresh cover, done.

A recover is one of the most cost-effective things you can do when your awning starts looking worn, faded, or beat up from the elements. You're keeping what works and only replacing what doesn't. For commercial buildings especially, that exterior appearance matters more than people realize. A tired-looking awning is one of those things that quietly chips away at a first impression.

Vinyl is a great material choice for applications like this. It holds color well, sheds water cleanly, and handles sun exposure better than a lot of other fabrics over the long haul. Bay Blue in particular gives a sharp, professional look - especially against a light-colored exterior wall like this one.

We do awning recovers on all kinds of structures - window awnings, entry canopies, storefront awnings, you name it. If the frame is still in decent shape, there's a good chance a recover is all you need. It's worth having someone take a look before you assume you need to start from scratch.

Whether it's a single window like this or a full building with multiple awnings, the process is the same - assess the frame, select the right fabric, and get a clean install that looks like it belongs there. That's what we're going for every time.
